How we review Clutch
By Jean Luc Poitier, SEO and growth marketing strategist · Clutch Reviews · Updated September 27, 2026
What this site is
Clutch Reviews is an independent review aggregator. We are not Clutch and we don't work for them. Our goal is simple: collect what real users say about Clutch across the platforms where they post it, then organize it so you can make an informed decision in a few minutes instead of an afternoon.
Where the reviews come from
We aggregated 55 published reviews across 2 platforms. We did not write, edit, or solicit any of them. Every review is the words of a real Clutch user, quoted from its original source:
- Trustpilot· Mostly agencies. 65 of 200 visible reviews came via Clutch's own link, all five stars.
- G2· Small agencies and a few buyers. The newest reviews are the most critical.
Clutch averages 3.8 across 300+ ratings on Trustpilot and G2. The reviews on this site are a hand-picked snapshot of that corpus, chosen to reflect its recurring themes, critical reviews included. G2 uses half stars and shows some reviews as 0/5; we round half stars down and show 0/5 as one star, as G2's own rating breakdown does.
How we score and tag
Each review is tagged by sentiment (positive, mixed, or critical) and by audience (agencies or buyers or contributors), so you can filter to the perspective that matches you. The verdict score on the homepage is the count-weighted average of the platforms' own public ratings, using the counts listed above. Our snapshot skews toward written and critical reviews on purpose, so its plain average (3.6/5) can run lower than the platform-wide figure. Neither number is made up, and neither is weighted to flatter the product.
Review lists open sorted by "Most relevant": detailed, recent reviews that describe what Clutch did for the writer come first, drawn from a mix of platforms, and the critical ones come after. Switch the sort to Newest, Highest rating, or Lowest rating, or filter to Critical, to read them in another order. The order never changes the averages above, which count every review we show.
Why we publish critical reviews
A review site that only shows praise isn't a review site. We include the negative reviews on purpose: the billing complaints, the support frustrations, the edge-case bugs, all verbatim and unedited. Balance is the entire point. It's what lets you trust the positive reviews too.
Affiliate disclosure
We earn a commission if you sign up for Clutch through links on this site, at no extra cost to you. This is how we fund the work. It does not influence which reviews we show, how we tag them, or the score we report. The data is the data whether or not you click a link.
Keeping it current
Products and sentiment change. We refresh the review set on a regular basis and re-check facts like pricing and features, and we stamp every page with a “last updated” date so you know how fresh the analysis is. This page was last updated September 27, 2026.
